CK United face a big test tonight as they travel to Waterford to take on Villa FC in a top-of-the-table clash in the FAI National League.
CK United got back to winning ways at the weekend with a 3-1 victory over Killarney Celtic, having drawn their previous two games.
A win tonight would put CK United four points clear of Villa, although they would have played a game more.
Assistant Manager James Quinn says there is only one thing on their minds heading into tonight’s game.
“We are going down to Villa Tuesday night with one thing and one thing only on our mind, and that is to win the game.
“If we want to win the group, we need to win on Tuesday night. We need to win the other two games after that as well.
“I’ve said to you all along, it’s always the next game. It just so happens our next game is against Villa Tuesday night, and we’ll be ready.”
