CHEESE BURGER WITH TOMATO & CHILLI JAM
Ingredients
1½ lb/700g lean mince
2 garlic cloves crushed
1 medium onion diced
2oz/50g breadcrumbs
1oz/25g grated parmesan
1dsp chilli jam
1 large egg
1 tbsp finely chopped parsley
Seasoning
Method
Put the minced beef into a large bowl and add the onion and garlic
Mix the breadcrumbs, cheese and chopped parsley with the chilli jam
Season the mixture with salt and black pepper
Add the egg and bring the mixture together with your hands
Divide into 9 pieces using a little flour to bind
Brush with oil and place on a hot barbecue, cut into the centre just to make sure they are cooked through
You can also do these on a pan in your kitchen
