The clearest and most direct way to hear how someone lives their life is through their own words.
Each week, for ten weeks beginning on Tuesday, 17 June 2025, we will represent a day in the life of a member of a particular immigrant or new Irish Community by broadcasting their audio diaries.
From interaction with others in their family, their community and the population at large, we’ll also hear how they cope with the daily balance of work, family life, education, social life and more across Kilkenny and Carlow.
