A decision is expected today from An Bórd Pleanála in relation to plans to build a mosque in Kilkenny city.

Kilkenny county council granted permission for the development on the Hebron Road back in October of last year.

But 3 separate appeals were lodged with the Bord with a fourth deemed invalid.

A decision is due on those appeals today.
