A man has died after a single vehicle crash In Kilkenny.
It happened on the N10 in Foulkstown, County Kilkenny at around 3:25 this morning.
Emergency services responded to the incident but the driver of the car, a man in his twenties, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
His body has been transferred University Hospital Waterford, where a post-mortem will be conducted. The local Coroner has also been notified.
The N10 was closed this morning while a technical examination was conducted by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators and the road has fully reopened to traffic.
Investigating Gardaí appeal to anyone who may have witnessed the collision to come forward.
Road users with camera footage (including dash-cam) from the area at the time are urged to provide it to Gardaí.
