A man in his 20s, arrested following a 60 thousand euro cannabis seizure in Laois on Tuesday, has been charged.
He’s due before a sitting of Portlaoise District Court later this morning.
A second man arrested has been released without charge, with a file to be prepared for the DPP.
The cannabis herb was discovered after Gardaí stopped and searched a car during a routine patrol near Emo on Tuesday.
