Hacketstown could be getting a new hotel.
An application has been lodged with the local authority for permission to build a 17-bedroom hotel in the county Carlow Town.
Edmondbay Developments Ltd is planning to renovate an existing shop at Main Street – Mill Street.
It would include demolishing part of the back of the building and putting up a new two-storey extension.
