Extra care is needed on the roads again this morning after snow and wintry showers fell overnight.
Temperatures remain low and extra care is being advised with icy stretches likely along local routes.
A Met Eireann snow/ice warning issued late on Tuesday night is valid until 9am.
Meanwhile the low temperatures forecast are set to remain for a few days yet as Met Eireann has now extended its winter weather advisory to Friday morning.
