Alan Quinlan – “Sean O Brien should not be included against France”

Ireland train today ahead of Saturdays clash with France .

Jamie Heaslip and Sean O’Brien didn’t start against the Azzuri but could both be available for the next game.

Heaslip is recovering from a shoulder injury while O’Brien who just returned from a shoulder problem pulled out in the warm up for Saturdays win in Rome after damaging his hamstring.

Johnny Sexton will be available for the match but it’s unclear if he’ll start as he hasn’t played since November.

Eoin Reddan and Cian Healy may also return to the match day squad while Rory Best is having a head injury assessed but it’s not known if he has concussion.

Sean O’Brien should recover from his injury in time but ex Munster and Ireland forward Alan Quinlan doesn’t think he should be included to face France as he hasn’t played enough rugby lately…..CLICK PLAY
