A Callan supermarket’s set to expand.
Aldi set up its 100th Irish outlet in the town ten years ago and now is increasing its floor space by more than a third in a two million euro upgrade.
There’ll be more parking spaces too while the staff numbers are also due to rise.
The store is currently closed to facilitate the work but will reopen tomorrow (Tuesday).
