All roads lead to Ratheniska for many in Carlow and Kilkenny as the National Ploughing Championships get underway

All roads lead to Ratheniska from today (Tuesday).

The National Ploughing Championships take hold in Co Laois with three days of competitions and a range of activities underway.

If you’re planning on visiting at some stage you should have your ticket bought in advance online (here) as there’ll only be gate access if not sold out.

Also, advice is to use public transport or carpool where possible. (see below for the designated routes, carparks and checklist from the NPA).
