Almost 400 customers still without power after Storm Ophelia and Storm Brian

Around 380 ESB customers in Kilkenny are still without power in the aftermath of Storm Brian and Storm Ophelia.

Over 200 customers in Ballyragget lost their power yesterday morning but the ESB expects supply to be restored shortly.

60 customers in the McDonagh area also lost power yesterday while 120 customers in Rosberson in South Kilkenny are without supply.

Crews are continuing to restore and repair lines and ESB Networks expects supply to be restored by 8 o’clock tonight.

Meanwhile,

Motorists are being advised to drive with caution at the Callan Road roundabout in Kilkenny.

A burst water main has caused significant flooding in the area.
