Annual fundraiser by local Emergency Services members takes place in Kilkenny today

The 11th annual Blue Light Ball is taking place in Kilkenny this evening.

It’s organised by members of the Fire Service, the Ambulance Service, and the Gardaí each year as a fundraiser for various charities.

It’s taking place in Hotel Kilkenny and it’s understood there’s a small number of tickets still available.

This year’s chosen charities are the Scoliosis Advocacy Network and the St Luke’s Special Care baby Unit.
