The annual Nore swim took place this morning with over 100 hardly souls taking to the river in Kilkenny city.
The event is raising money for two local charities
The swim started at 11am this morning and trophies and awards will take place later.
Michael Power from Kilkenny Water safety says the perpetual trophies are around 80 years old and every participant receives a special struck medal designed by a local silver smith.
