Jobs for Carlow with another new service area for M9 motorway

Another new service area on the M9 motorway will see 140 jobs for Carlow.

Topaz have plans to build it at Rathcrogue near the Junction 5 Tinryland exit.

Carlow county council had originally granted permission for the project but that was appealed by the National roads Authority.

However An Bord Pleanála has now given it the green light and construction is set to start early next year.

Applegreen has just opened a service area in Paulstown in recent weeks.
