Another public meeting to take place to discuss proposed wind farm for south Kilkenny

A further meeting of local residents who are concerned about the proposed wind farm close to Mullinavat will be held next week.

Manogate wishes to construct 10 wind turbines on a site in Ballyfacey, between the existing windfarms at Ballymartin and Rahora.

Those of the area have gathered twice to discuss the plans and now will meet again as local Councillor Ger Frisby’s been outlining to KCLR News’ Dermot Keyes;
