Another young man dead following a road crash in Tipperary

Another young man has died following a road crash.

The single vehicle incident happened on the N24 at Cordangan Cross close to Tipperary town last night (Wednesday, 17th December) just after 9:30pm.

The driver and sole occupant of the car who was aged in his twenties was pronounced dead at the scene.

His body’s been taken to University Hospital Waterford for a post-mortem examination.

While a technical exam will take place on the route which remains closed this morning.

Gardaí are appealing to anybody who was in the area at the time to contact them, especially those who might have footage of any form.
