Anti-CAS groups to be invited to Council Meeting on 21st July

The Anti- CAS group, as well as other groups with concerns over the Central Access Scheme, are to be invited to the next council meeting in Kilkenny.

The meeting on the 21st July will allow the groups to address the council in the form of formal presentations.

The news comes as a group opposed to the scheme have been stopping  heavy goods vehicles from accessing the site where work has started on the new bridge crossing.

The Anti-CAS group met this morning to discuss the development.

Local Councillor Kathleen Funchion attended the meeting and says decisions can be overturned with people power.
