An application for 43 new homes in Freshford has been lodged with Kilkenny County Council.
Tallis and Company Limited have submitted plans for the development at Bohercrussia Street.
It would see a mix of detached and semi detached two, three, four and five bedroom homes with associated site works.
A decision on the plans is due in early February.
