A visit to Butler Gallery to chat with director Anna O’Sullivan wound up including an impromptu tour and in depth look at the show with co-curator Professor Ciaran Benson who walked me through 50 years of self portraits from Tony O’Malley. Take a listen below.

Solpadeine Is My Boyfriend
Solpadeine Is My Boyfriend hits the GB Shaw Theatre in Carlow this Friday night and I had a chance to catch up with writer and actor Stefanie Preissner to chat about the show, its development, background and touring both nationally and internationally since she launched the show at the 2012 Dublin Fringe Festival.

Kats Launch One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest
On Friday night last, Kats Theatre Group, one of the longest established in Kilkenny, launched One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest at the Upstairs Gallery in the Watergate Theatre. The show performs at the Watergate this coming November but I managed to catch up with PRO and actor Shay Lawlor at the launch to find out how things are progressing with the show and what audiences can expect in November.
