Assaults on Gardai are commonplace in Kilkenny and Carlow.
So says local GRA spokesperson Ger Comerford as the association meets for its annual conference in Kerry this week.
Delegates heard yesterday how nearly 40 Gardai have been assaulted in the first 3 months this year- the average each years reaches over a thousand.
Speaking to KCLR news from the GRA conference the local Garda said they want the Department of Justice to publish details of these.
