At least 4 arrests have been made in Carlow since Rag Week started.
IT Carlow students union kicked off their annual Raise & Give week on Sunday night.
Gardai say all of those arrested were for public order offences.
Its understood extra members are on duty for the week as students celebrate and fundraise with a series of events in the town.
Locals have told KCLR that Tullow Street was in a poor state in the early hours of this morning following last nights events.
