At least four dogs picked up in Kilkenny in multi-agency operation

At least four dogs were taken from a Kilkenny location in a multi-agency campaign.

My Lovely Horse Rescue says it took in the animals after the first Joint Committee Operation Day for which its personnel teamed with Gardaí, Carlow Kilkenny Dog Shelter, County Council, National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (NSPCA) and Irish Racing Greyhound in their first Joint Committee Operation Day.

It’s understood the other organisations involved also took away animals for care but it’s unknown as yet how many are involved.
