Saoirse Ronan has been nominated for a BAFTA this morning.
The shortlist has been revealed in the past hour and the Ardattin native will go up against the likes of Maggie Smith and Cate Blanchett in the Best Actress Category.
Its one of 6 nominations for the film Brooklyn.
