Bagenalstown business set to shake up supermarket shelves
'R-Wear' are rolling out their sports accessories in Dunnes Stores outlets across the country

A prominent Carlow business could soon see a surge in sales across the country.
‘R-Wear’, based in Bagenalstown, will have its products rolled out in 49 Dunnes Stores outlets nationwide from next week.
The sports accessory company is owned by local businessman Colin Rea, who says this move to the supermarkets has been a long time coming.
“It’s really exciting news. This is something I’ve been actively trying to achieve for maybe the last five or six years, so it’s brilliant and we’re really looking forward to it” he told KCLR News.
Mouth guards, slitters and hurl grips are among the R-Wear range that will be hitting Dunnes’ shelves over the coming days.
Colin says the products have already been a hit with many customers across Ireland.
“You’ll be able to get all of our products from Dunnes Stores, but as well as Dunnes we’re also in over 500 shops across the country through our other distribution partners too” he shared. “But Dunnes Stores is a big one to get, and hopefully it will be a long-term [partner] as well.”
