Big crowds expected at Gowran park for Thyestes Day

Big crowds are expected at Gowran Park today for the Thyestes Race Day.

If you are heading along you’re being reminded to leave extra time for the journey due to the expected turnout.

For punters travelling from the Waterford/South Kilkenny direction you’re asked to travel via Thomastown and to use the Car Park opposite Gowran Park.

Traffic coming from Carlow  should follow directions in Gowran village to the Mill Road Car Park below Gowran Park itself.

Those travelling from Kilkenny City are being reminded there are courtesy shuttle buses from Castle Gates at 10:45 & 11.15am.
