Big Splash in Thomastown gets under way this afternoon

It’s all systems go in Thomastown today as the inaugural ‘Big Splash’ gets underway this afternoon!

Everyone’s being encouraged to go for a dip in the recently completed Weir Pool in the town today from around now.

It’s all for a good cause with money raised going for the maintenance and conservation of the pond and it’s surrounds.

Organiser and member of Thomastown Community River Trust, Shem Caulfield, told KCLR News that all safety precautions are in place and everything’s ready to go.
