Biggest military graduation in history at IT Carlow this morning

40 soldiers were ‘conferred in absentia’ as they missed their graduation ceremony at IT Carlow this morning.

They’re on overseas duty but nearly 200 others did collect their scrolls at the local institute this morning in the largest ever military graduation in the country

Minister of State Paul Kehoe was there for the historic occasion along with the Deputy Chief of Staff at the Defence Forces.

2 more ceremonies will follow this afternoon – theres one at 2.30 and another at 6.30 this evening.
