Blas Glas – Interview : Anthony Quigney/Kilfenora Céilí Band (10/2/2015)

The Kilfenora Céilí Band celebrate 104 years in existence in 2015. They have managed, over the years, to both hold to their roots and at the same time embrace a number of new influences in their music. Make no mistake they play as well and with as much passion as they ever did but are moving into different styles and instrumentation that breathes new life in to their music. In 2015, they feature music, dance and song and in a neat twist have recorded a song by Andy Irvine as their latest single.
