Body found in search for missing Kilkenny man last seen in Carlow

A post mortem is to take place today on the body of a missing Kilkenny man found in Carlow.
Rory Gahan had been reported missing after he wasn’t seen since the 27th of December.
The 34-year-old, who was originally from Graiguenamanagh, was last seen on Tullow Street in Carlow.
A media appeal for information on his whereabouts was issued on Friday and that afternoon a body was located in a derelict house on the Dublin Road.
His body was removed to Waterford University Hospital where it remained for the weekend.
A post mortem examination will take place today.
GardaĆ say the results of this will determine the course of any investigation.
