Body recovered from Kilkenny river
It follows a search for the middle-aged woman yesterday afternoon
The body of a middle-aged woman has been recovered from a Kilkenny river.
It’s after a major search operation in the Brownsbarn Bridge area, between Inistioge and Thomastown, yesterday afternoon.
Local gardaí, fire and ambulance services were involved in efforts to locate the woman, who was pronounced dead at 3.30pm.
