A book of condolences has opened in Ballon in Carlow for locals to pay their respects to those who drowned in Donegal on Sunday night.
Three children and 2 adults lost their lives when their SUV slipped on algae and entered the water at Buncrana pier.
Their funerals will take place in their native Derry on Thursday afternoon.
Siopa Glas Community Shop on Main St in Ballon has opened a book of condolences and has five candles lighting for the victims.
