Books of condolence to open in Kilkenny for victims of Brussels attack & Buncrana tragedy

2 separate books of condolence will open at City Hall in Kilkenny this morning.

The Cathaoirleach of the county council Mary Hilda Cavanagh and Mayor Joe Malone have organised them to allow locals pay tribute to the victims of yesterdays attacks in Brussels and Sundays tragedy in Buncrana.

34 people died in the Belgian capital on Tuesday morning in attacks on the main airport and a metro station.

Last Sunday night 5 people died in Buncrana in Co Donegal in a tragic accident.

Locals are invitedĀ to sign the books from 11am today to show solidarity with those affected in both tragedies.
