Britain’s Got Talent: Disappointment for Kilkenny Choir but could they get a second chance?

It was a disappointing night for one local choir as they narrowly missed out on a place in the final of Britain’s Got Talent.
The Presentation Kilkenny Choir performed live in front of millions of viewers during last night’s semi-final.
It all began just weeks ago for the local school choir and their choir mistress Veronica McCarron who made quite the impression on head judge Simon Cowell.
Before last night’s semi-final Veronica told KCLR how “unbelievable” the last few weeks had been.
The girls gave a stunning rendition of Ave Maria which garnered them huge praise from the judges who predicted that they would advance to the final.
Unfortunately, those predictions didn’t become a reality as the choir were pipped to the post for a place in the final – coming in 4th place.
It now remains to be seen whether or not they’ll be picked as the judges’ wild card which could see them back in the competition.
Failing that, they’ll be returning home to Kilkenny where they’ll get a huge welcome from their very proud teachers and classmates.
