Secondary school students across Carlow and Kilkenny are being urged to get thinking about possible projects for next year’s BT Young Scientist Competition.
Organisers say the summer holidays are the best time for students to start coming up with ideas that they would like to develop into projects when they return to school.
Over the past 5 years alone Carlow schools have taken home 11 awards while Kilkenny have scooped 13.
Speaking to KCLR, Head of BT Young Scientist, Mari Cahalane, says they’re hoping to see this success continue.
