A local accountant says the cut to USC in the Budget will only save you €50 per €10,000 earned.
Finance Minister Michael Noonan announced he’d be dropping the USC rates by half a percent in Budget 2017.

He says it’s not a life-changing difference.
Meanwhile, Carlow and Kilkenny’s Chambers of Commerce are both offering full budget breakdowns to local business people today.
Carlow’s Budget Breakfast began at 7.30 this morning in the Seven Oaks Hotel.
Kilkenny Chamber will host a budget lunch from 12.30 this afternoon in partnership with PWC in Hotel Kilkenny.
