Judging takes place today for the Pride of Carlow Premises Awards.

An associated ceremony will take place on Friday at which six winners will be revealed.
Two independent judges will visit Upper Tullow St, Lower Tullow St, Castle St, Potato Market, Kennedy Avenue and Dublin Street.
Pierce Kavanagh is Economic Development officer for the Carlow Town project. He says the idea is to recognise premises owners that take pride in their premises and present them to a very high standard.
