Calls in Carlow for Braun site owners and IDA to get together to discuss sale

Two Carlow Councillors are calling on the owners of the Braun factory site and the IDA to get together and agree a deal for the organisation to buy the site.

The building and grounds on O Brien Road have been sitting idle for the past few years and at one time employed 14 hundred people.

Fergal Browne and Tom O Neill will raise the issue formally at next weeks Council meeting and Councillor O Neill says the IDA have ignored Carlow to date.
