Two Kilkenny camogie legends will be honoured this evening as the community comes together for a night of celebration and recognition.
Grace and Miriam Walsh both announced their Inter-county retirement last year having won 3 All-Ireland medals each.
There will be a line up of tributes and discussions, featuring Kilkenny Hurling legend Liam Keoghan, former Senior county managers Ann Downey and Brian Dowling, and Loreto School coach Brendan Williams.
Tullaroan Camogie chair Jimmy Walton says they were perfect role models for the younger players in the club…
“It’s great for underage players, you know, because they’re constantly looking up to them, if Grace or Miriam arrive in the field, they all up their game, just to try and impress them, so our under 16, 18, our minors and under 22s will receive our medals too from Grace and Miriam too, so it’ll be a big night for them as well.”
