All roads led to Rathleague, Portlaoise on Sunday last when Leinster Camogie hosted a Provincial Under 14 Blitz and the Interprovincial Semi Finals and Final.
Carlow were victorious in the Under 14 Division 3 Cup Final where they defeated Meath. Wicklow in an entertaining final by 5:5 to 1:2. In their path to the final Carlow defeated Wicklow and Louth.
Twenty seven girls representing nine Carlow clubs travelled with their team mentors Brian Lawler(Naomh Brid), Breda O Dwyer (Mount Leinster Rangers), Lisa Nolan (Myshall) and Ger Power (Development Officer) played their part in a fantastic team effort.
This result sets Carlow up well for the season with further blitzes to be hosted by Kildare in June and indeed Carlow later in the season culminating with the All Ireland Blitz in September.
Aine Nolan, Captain accepted the cup from Rachel Hogan (Leinster Chairperson) with each girls been presented with medals.

Managed by Mark Brennan three Carlow players Kate Nolan, Eleanor Treacy and Michelle Nolan started the semi final against Ulster with Teresa Meaney, Ciara Quirke introduced early in the first half also.
Marian Doyle and Ali Rischitzko were also selected for the panel following outstanding displays during the National League. Unfortunately Leinster were defeated in the semi final by a strong eventually winners Ulster by four points.
