Cancer support centre to benefit as local students take to their tractors in Kilkenny today

There may be some traffic delays around parts of Kilkenny this afternoon, but it’s all for a good cause.

A major tractor run has been organised by six students from St Kieran’s College in Kilkenny to raise much-needed funds for Cois Nore Cancer Support Centre.

They’re hoping to get it all underway from Cillín Hill at 1.30pm, heading out to Gowran, back into Bennettsbridge and back in the Sion Road.

There will also be a raffle with top prizes supplied by local businesses.
