Carlow County Council is considering trialing some caravan and camping schemes in each of its municipal districts.
Replying to a suggestion from Cllr Fergal Browne at the Council’s March meeting, Chief Executive Coilin O’Reilly said it was time to look at developing trial sites before considering the roll-out of the county’s first dedicated caravan facility.
Following her presentation to councillors, Carlow Tourism Chief Executive Eileen O’Rourke told KCLR News that the development of dedicated caravan facilities would be another step in the right direction.
Stay tuned to hear that report from Dermot Keyes.
