Carlow and Kilkenny men graduate from Garda Training College today

A Carlow man and 3 Kilkenny men have graduated from the Garda Training college today.

Barry Molloy from Rathvilly, David Phelan from Bennettsbridge, Brian Delaney from Clara and Michael Murphy from Kilkenny have completed the first phase of their training over 32 weeks.

They and 95 others like them will head off now to Garda stations in Waterford, Naas, Wexford and Tallaght for the next phase.

Justice Minister Frances Fitzgerald and Garda Commissioner Nóirín O Sullivan were at Templemore for the passing out ceremony earlier.
