Carlow and Kilkenny Paralympians in action today

Two local athletes are in action at the Paralympics today.

Aaron Shorten, who trains out of St Laurence O’Toole’s in Carlow is in the T20 1,500m final just before 10am.

While South Kilkenny cyclist Damien Vereker goes at midday in the Men’s B road race.

Our third contender at the games in France, Kilkenny woman Mary Fitzgerald, is due to compete tomorrow.
