Ireland’s Paralympic athletes are heading to Paris today for the 2024 games.
Team Ireland will compete in nine different categories when they games kick off on August 28th.
35 athletes head for their training camp today – among them Kilkenny shotput star Mary Fitzgerald, fellow athletics team mate Aaron Shorten from Carlow, Kilmacow, Kilkenny native Damien Vereker and Laois swimmer Nicole Turner.
