Carlow-born journalist Corinna Hardgrave, who had been a popular restaurant critic with The Irish Times for the past six years, has died at the age of 64 following a short illness.
Corinna, who is survived by husband Steve and their two daughters Katherine and Isabelle, had previously worked as a wine columnist for The Irish Independent, as food writer with The Sunday Times and had also served as restaurant critic and wine writer with Irish Tatler.
Speaking to The KCLR Daily, Irish Times Managing Features Editor Madeleine Lyons paid tribute to a colleague whom she described as wonderful.
