Carlow businessman flying to Marrakesh this week delivering Christmas gifts donated by locals

Hundreds of brown paper bags decorated by locals will make their way to Morocco this week.
An alternative version to shoe-boxes, they’re to be filled with gifts for residents of a small village high in the mountains near Marakkesh where Kevin Kelly and his team are off to on Wednesday and Thursday.
The Carlow businessman is well known at this stage for his work in helping those who are less well-off both here in Ireland and abroad.
On Friday morning, he and the team will make their way up the mountain on donkeys to deliver the bags to locals there.
He says he wanted to do something a little different that would get peoples attention and maybe inspire others to do their bit.
