Carlow Councillor hails the late Sarah ‘Ciss’ Carpenter as an astute business woman known for her kind and witty personality

Tributes are being made to a staunch Carlow business woman and community supporter.

Sarah ‘Ciss’ Carpenter headed up the well-known family behind the Barrack Street bar and Funeral Home that bears their name.

She died on Saturday and will be laid to rest tomorrow.
