A Carlow councillor wants the authorities to intervene and acquire a ghost estate in Graiguecullen to house locals.
Councillors from Carlow and Laois met last week and Fruithill Manor came up for discussion.
Jennifer Murnane says there’s up to 200 people on the housing list in Carlow that would be happy to be housed in Graiguecullen.
And she wants the council to do something.
