Carlow County Council to work on shaping vision for next Corporate Plan

Carlow Council’s working on its vision for the county’s future.

Local authorities must put together a five-year corporate plan and at the body’s monthly meeting members decided to move to public consultation on their latest document, getting input from a range of stakeholders.

CEO Coilin O’Reilly told KCLR News that it allows many to have an input in the future of the county, providing a roadmap for implementation.

Also while chatting with our Martin Quilty, he told of the county’s new Fire Chief and how he himself is enjoying the role heading up the local authority.
